Medical Surgical Float Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in Anderson, South Carolina
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
Patient ratio: 1:6
First-time travelers accepted
Local candidates accepted
Must be willing to float to other medical-surgical units as needed
Weekend requirement: every other weekend
Block scheduling is not accommodated
RTO must be submitted with the application

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of float experience
Float experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association

Additional Requirements

Government-issued photo ID
2 clinical references
Resume/application
Photo for badge before start
Must complete required onboarding, orientation, and acknowledgements before starting
Must pass required background screening and health clearance requirements before start

Compliance Notes

Annual fit testing is required
Must comply with seasonal flu vaccination or exemption requirements
Must complete annual or required renewal updates for applicable screenings and documentation
