Mammography Technician (Weekend Shifts)

Location

Salem, Massachusetts

Employment Type

Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)

Schedule

Weekend shifts only (Saturday and Sunday)
Shift hours vary: 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM or 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Saturday shift options: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM or 7:45 AM - 11:45 AM
Weekly hours range from 36 to 40 hours depending on department needs
Work performed at hospital and various offsite locations within a 10-mile radius
Flexible schedule with varying shift lengths (8, 10, or 12 hours)

Job Responsibilities

Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms
Coverage includes hospital and offsite locations
Ability to work independently
Preferred but not required: experience performing stereotactic biopsies
Ratio of technician to machine is 1:1

Required Qualifications

Valid Mammography Technologist license in Massachusetts
Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
