Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Fullerton, California
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• High-acuity, high-volume ER with no trauma
• About 230 visits per day
• 36 beds with overflow units
• Patient mix includes all ages, primarily geriatric and adult, with about 10% pediatric patients
• Stroke and STEMI Center
• Magnet designated
• May float to Tele Hold and ICU Hold as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (1.5 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• Stroke experience
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
• Open to working weekends; must be available to work at least 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule cycle, which may include a shift every weekend
• Pending license not accepted
• First-time travelers not accepted

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of ER specialty experience
• EPIC experience
• TNCC
• CEN or CPN

Additional Notes

• Limited pediatric experience is acceptable
• Scheduling preferences may be considered but are not guaranteed
• Scheduling requests due to additional employment will not be considered
• Holiday time off cannot be guaranteed
• RTO must be included at time of submission
• Guaranteed hours are not provided; the facility may call off once per two-week pay period
