Labor and Delivery RN

Job Overview

  • Travel/contract RN position in Columbia, South Carolina
  • Night shift: 3x12s, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • On-call required: 2 twelve-hour shifts in a 6-week period
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in South Carolina
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • AWHONN Beginner
  • AWHONN Intermediate
  • FHM
  • NRP
  • EFM issued by AWHONN or NCC
  • Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWHONN Advanced
  • STABLE
  • Comfort with couplet care or transition nursery
  • Epic experience

Schedule and Work Expectations

  • 36 hours per week
  • Block scheduling requires manager approval
  • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

  • Hurricane season assignments may include emergency response duties
