Respiratory Therapist - Nights

Location: York, Maine
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:00 pm to 6:30 am)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Provide advanced respiratory therapy care, assessment, and education.
Evaluate, monitor, and manage complex life support systems for acute or chronically ill patients.
Perform complex mechanical ventilator procedures including pressure and volume control and other continuous ventilation modes.
Participate as a member of the cardiac arrest team and respond to emergencies.
Work primarily with ICU patients in a hospital setting.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Polysomnographer, including experience within the last year.
Experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
