Job info

Manage, organize, and administer nursing care for patients of all ages under physician supervision.
Assess physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients.
Report and document symptoms, reactions, and changes in patient condition.
Use the nursing process to develop, implement, revise, and evaluate formal plans of care.
Administer medications following the "Five Rights of Medication Administration."
Provide patient and family education appropriate to age and learning abilities.
Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients, families, and visitors.
Prioritize daily assignments to optimize patient care.
Maintain patient and employee confidentiality.
Demonstrate annual competency in assigned work areas.
Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational code of conduct.

Assign licensed and non-licensed staff according to patient needs and staff skill levels.
Coach staff to improve problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Lead or participate in performance improvement initiatives.
Recognize and respond immediately to life-threatening patient complications.
Maintain cooperative relationships with physicians, departments, and staff.

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
