Registered Nurse (PCU) - Travel Assignment

Location: Clyde, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: PM
Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Call Requirement: None

Unit & Patient Population

Unit: Progressive Care (4th Floor)
Number of Beds: 22
Patient Ratio: 4:1
Patient Population: Adult cardiac observation, post cardiac cath lab patients, cardioversions
Equipment: Telemetry
Electronic Health Record (EHR): Paragon

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Job Details

Specialty: Cardiac Progressive Care Unit
Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Cardiac care including post cardiac cath lab and cardioversions
Personality Fit: Team-oriented, good communication skills, flexible
Dress Code: Navy scrubs; offensive tattoos and non-facility tops are unacceptable

Additional Information

Orientation: Bi-weekly
No call responsibilities
Travel candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status

Friendly surgeons and staff. Small hospital, not real busy, OSC in walking distance, good cafeteria, beautiful location, nice fitness center next door. They hire a lot of travelers!
