Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12 hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM); includes Thursdays, Fridays, every other weekend, and holidays as assigned
Start Date: Approximately June 1

Job Summary

Perform diagnostic radiology procedures including CT and X-ray imaging. Prepare patients for examinations, conduct routine radiographic studies, and ensure radiation safety for both operator and patient. Position requires adherence to department policies and guidelines set by professional radiologic standards.

Typical department volume: 270-290 scans per day
Equipment used: GE and Canon CT scanners
EMR system: EPIC
Scrub color: Charcoal grey

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Ohio
• ARRT certified CT Technologist
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• 7-year background check including SS trace, county searches, nationwide criminal search, sex offender search, and sanctions screening
• Negative 9 or 10 panel urine drug screen within 90 days of start (marijuana tested, no medical marijuana exemptions)
• Physical exam within 2 years indicating clearance to work
• Respirator fit test documentation within 1 year (if applicable)
• Immunizations and titers: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B, TB test or chest X-ray within 6 months
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required
• Various competency exams including medication/pharmacology and color blindness testing
• State-specific fingerprinting and background attestations as required

Additional Notes

• Traveler’s permanent address must be more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Orientation and onboarding require completion of facility-specific agreements and policies
• Fingerprinting may be required onsite or at designated locations prior to or on the first day of orientation
• Facility carries latex-free gloves and can accommodate latex allergies

This position is ideal for a CT Technologist with ARRT certification and Ohio licensure seeking a travel contract in a high-volume hospital setting with a structured 3x12 day shift schedule.
