4W Oncology Infusion (Chemo) RN

Location

Terre Haute, Indiana

Schedule

Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
Friday, 7:00 AM–Noon
Flexibility with hours based on patient schedules is preferred if possible

Required Qualifications

RN
ACLS (AHA)
BLS (AHA)
Chemo infusion experience qualifies
Must complete these 4 tests prior to start:
- Complete Blood Count (CBC)
- Complete Metabolic Panel (CMP)
- Urinalysis
- Reticulocyte Count

Preferred

Chemo certified
Previous chemotherapy infusion experience
Previous experience with Cerner and Intellidose (TxM)

Role Overview

Administer intravenous chemotherapy drugs and other intravenous therapies
Provide pre- and post-treatment patient care
Assess patients before IV treatments
Access ports or peripheral IVs for lab draws and IV therapies
Administer chemotherapy and other IV infusions, operate equipment, and monitor patients during treatment
Administer prescribed intravenous medications and oral pre-treatment medications
Monitor and respond to side effects or reactions per protocols

Additional Details

Scrubs: any solid color from Ceil Blue, Royal Blue, Burgundy/Wine, or Pewter Gray
