2 years of medical-surgical telemetry experience

Clinical Expectations

Float within a 60-mile zone across multiple facilities
May be assigned to medical-surgical telemetry, ICU low-acuity holds, PCU/stepdown, or other acuity levels as needed
Heparin titration required
Adult and geriatric patient population
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5–6 based on acuity

Scheduling

Schedule is released 4–6 weeks in advance
6–9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
May be asked to work holidays
Rare call/standby requirement
