Cardiovascular Cath Lab Tech

Location

• Bricktown, New Jersey

Assignment Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• Day shift
• 40 hours per week
• 10 hours per day

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of prior experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or invasive procedure area in an acute care hospital
• Minimum 1 year required in Cardiac Cath
• Six to 12 months during CVT accredited program or 2 years in another cardiac vascular laboratory
• Usage of Impella and ballon pump required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with computers, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile operative techniques
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platform

Preferred Qualifications

• Permanent pacemaker placement experience
• Mac lab experience
• EPIC familiarity

Role Summary

• Assists physicians with invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including temporary and permanent pacemaker placement
• Assists with circulatory support devices such as IABP and Impella
