Overview
- Travel/contract role in Knoxville, Tennessee
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- 36 hours per week
Unit Details
- Level 3 NICU
- Float assignment may include PICU and general pediatric floors with patients under 2 years old
- Every 3rd weekend required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- NRP Advanced
- STABLE
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience
Additional Notes
- Meditech is used for documentation
- Omnicell is used, with transition to Pyxis planned
- The role is in a free-standing children’s hospital
- Government-issued photo ID and Social Security card are required
- Background check, drug screen, physical exam, TB screening, Tdap, flu vaccination, and proof of immunity or vaccination for MMR, hepatitis B, and varicella are required
- Two clinical references are required
