Critical Care Float

Location: Utica, New York
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 18:30–7:00
Hours per Week: 36
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Role Overview

Critical Care Float role with required willingness to float to ED (holds), ICU, and IMCU. Travelers must be able to work either the eve/day of Christmas and New Year’s, with holiday scheduling determined closer to December.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Critical Care Float (2 years of experience)
Critical Care Float experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Epic
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Able to float within skillset

Preferred Qualifications

CRN experience
PALS
TNCC

Clinical Details

Ratio: 1:2, occasionally 1:3
