Emergency Department RN

Role

RN in the Emergency Department and Critical Care

Schedule

36 hours per week
Night shift, 7pm to 7am
Every other weekend and holiday required
No call

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
Experience in a(n) Critical Care setting
1 year or more of total travel experience
ACLS
BLS
PALS
CPI
NIHSS

Unit Details

Emergency Department
20 beds plus 3 Behavioral beds within a locked unit and 2 Triage rooms
Patient ratio: 4:1 to 5:1
Standard Emergency Care equipment
EPIC EMR

Additional Information

Education modules are required through the education department
The unit is under construction and workflow changes may occur
Team-based environment with a need for flexibility, excellent communication, and documentation skills

This hospital is hands down the least toxic hospital I have ever had the privilege of working. I absolutely love the people I work with. Everyone I come into contact with likes what they do and they do it with passion. It’s not perfect by any means, but it’s close.
