Job Details

• Specialty: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
• Shift: Varies/Rotates; typically 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, alternating weekly with another tech
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: On-call rotation for ruling out torsion and ectopic pregnancies
• Call Requirements: Two weeks per month; 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM and 24-hour coverage on Saturdays and Sundays
• Patient Population: All (varied)
• Equipment Used: PB 840/980 ventilators, V60 Bilevel, Vapotherm
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Paragon
• Number of Beds in Unit: 102

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ultrasound Technologist license in North Carolina
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist within the last year
• Proficient experience as a Breast Sonographer
• Proficient experience as an Ob/Gyn Sonographer, including Maternal-Fetal patients
• Certifications:

  • ARRT (S) or ARDMS Certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
