Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Jupiter, Florida
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Specialty: Operating Room Registered Nurse
Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty, including scrub experience
Case Types: Heavy orthopedic cases and DaVinci robot-assisted surgeries
Call Requirement: Yes

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including scrub, with OR experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
STABLE program certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Facility-specific onboarding includes completion of HealthStream modules during downtime in the first week
Facility parking registration form must be completed
Fit mask testing within 12 months of start; if not available, will be completed onsite
Fingerprinting must be completed via Florida AHCA Livescan system; clearance can take up to 10 days
Background checks and federal exclusions screenings must be current and updated annually

This position is ideal for experienced Operating Room RNs with strong scrub skills and familiarity with orthopedic and robotic surgery cases, seeking a travel contract in Florida.
