Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location

  • Charlottesville, Virginia

Employment Type

  • Travel/Contract
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

  • Option 1: Four 10-hour shifts (07:30 - 18:00)
  • Option 2: Five 8-hour shifts (07:30 - 16:00)
  • One weekday on-call per week
  • One weekend on-call every 2 months
  • On-call parking available closer to facility

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Virginia
  • Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
  • Must comply with a 50-mile radius rule for travel

  • Hepatitis B: Positive Hep B Surface Antibody titer required; if low/negative, additional antigen titer required; no declinations/exemptions accepted
  • Varicella: 2 vaccines or titer required; declination accepted but will not hold clearance
  • Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (no exemptions or declinations accepted)

Documentation and Compliance Forms

  • Government-issued photo ID required and must be carried during hours of service
  • Completion of facility-specific forms prior to start, including:
    • Professional Appearance Guidelines
    • Release Authorization
    • TB Screening
    • Traveler Compliance
