Overview

Post-operative medical-surgical/telemetry unit caring for orthopedic, spinal surgery, bariatric surgery, colorectal surgery, Level III trauma, and medical-surgical overflow patients.
Unit can monitor up to 8 telemetry patients.
Typical patient ratio is 1:7.

Schedule and assignment expectations

Candidate must indicate preferred schedule at submission: 3x12s or 4x12s.
Every other weekend, floating, and holidays are required.
Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays.

Required qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Required certifications

BLS through the American Heart Association
