Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical (Travel)

Location: Henderson, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

Work in a 48-bed Medical Surgical unit with a patient ratio of 1:6
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Weekend hours as needed
Call requirements: None
Rare float requirements, possibly to inpatient rehab or ER for specific tasks
Electronic Health Record system: Paragon

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Certifications: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Preferred Experience

Experience managing a 1:6 patient ratio with high patient turnover

Unit & Patient Population

Trauma level unit
Patient population primarily adult medical-surgical patients

Additional Information
