Role is for a Home Hospice Nurse providing care in Buncombe County.
Nurse will travel by personal vehicle between patient appointments; mileage reimbursed at the federal rate.
Patient ratio approximately 1:15.
Documentation and charting performed using the Home Care Home Base EMR system.
Typical procedures include patient assessment, pain management, and family education.
Position requires self-sufficiency and experience as a hospice case manager.

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
Minimum 2 years of hospice nursing experience, including hospice experience within the last year.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Active driver's license required for travel between patient homes.

This is a mobile role with no fixed unit or building; nurse will work in patients' homes.
Team structure includes 1 team manager, 1 clinical nurse coordinator, 3 RN case managers, and 2-3 patient care technicians during day shifts.
Night shift staffing details not specified.
