Registered Nurse (Med Surg) - Travel Assignment

Location: Lewiston, Idaho
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical-Surgical unit
Shift: Nights
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Weekend Hours: Approximately 50%
Call: No extra call except possible low census call
Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 5 patients
Unit Beds: 30
Equipment: Remote telemetry available
Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Meditech
Float: Required to float to other departments except ICU and OB

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho
Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

Experience with common diagnoses such as pneumonia (PNA), post-surgical care, and alcohol-related conditions (ETOH)
Kind and willing to help coworkers

Additional Information

Dress Code: Scrubs of any color allowed or provided
No unacceptable attire specified
No prior travel experience explicitly required
