Unit Overview
- Telemetry / Med Surg with PCU
- 32 beds
- Typical staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4-8 RNs, 2 floor CNAs, and 1 sitter on both day and night shifts
- Patient ratio: 4-5:1
- GE telemetry system used
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Experience
- Experience caring for post-op CABG patients
- Meditech experience
Typical Procedures
- IV starts
- Foley starts
- Chest tube removal
