Unit Overview

  • Telemetry / Med Surg with PCU
  • 32 beds
  • Typical staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4-8 RNs, 2 floor CNAs, and 1 sitter on both day and night shifts
  • Patient ratio: 4-5:1
  • GE telemetry system used

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Colorado
  • Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Experience

  • Experience caring for post-op CABG patients
  • Meditech experience

Typical Procedures

  • IV starts
  • Foley starts
  • Chest tube removal
