Overview
- Travel assignment in Bradenton, Florida.
- Unit: Physical Therapy.
- Therapy staff services the entire facility.
- Floor: Rehab Services.
- Bed capacity: 383.
- Facility includes a 28-bed IRF and an acute care hospital with average census of 240.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Florida
- Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
Preferred Qualifications
- Hospital/IRF experience.
- Stroke/neuro experience.
Unit Details
- Day shift staffing supports patient care needs.
- No night shift.
- Typical patient load: 4 patients/day in IRF and 8-12 patients/day in acute care.
- Equipment includes 2 therapy gyms, Vector, LiteGait, and ADL Apartment.
- EMR: Meditech.
Typical Responsibilities
- Evaluation, treatment, and discharge.
- Team conferences and family training.
- Adaptive devices and equipment.
Schedule
- 36 hours per week.
- 13-week contract.
- Every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
- 1 weekend shift per month policy.
