RN - Home Health

Overview

• Travel RN role in Home Health Care
• Coverage for staff leave in Waldo County
• 5 openings
• Day shift: 0800-1700
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 40
• Schedule: Monday-Friday with every other weekend rotation
• No overnight call; call back may be required 2-4 times a month between 1700-2000
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maine
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Home Health (2 years of experience)
• Home Health experience within the last year
• BLS
• Wound Care experience
• Experience with Epic
• Experience with OASIS

Preferred Qualifications

• IV therapy
• Tube feeds
• VAC dressings
• Compression wraps
• Port access
• Ostomies
• Chest tubes
• S/p catheters
• Lab draw

Unit / Patient Population

• Adult med surg, oncology, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, wound care, GI, and GU patients
• Case management workload: 20-25 patients, with an expectation of 5-6 visits per day

Additional Details

• Float requirements: None
• Equipment provided for the assignment includes a laptop, iPhone, nursing supply bin, nursing bag with vital signs equipment, INR machine, and agency bag; all must be returned at departure
• Dress code: business casual or scrubs in any color
• Unacceptable attire: jeans, open-toed shoes, or clothing with holes
