Job Overview

Travel RN position in Ardmore, Oklahoma
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 3x12, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Weekend schedule: Friday and Saturday nights
Call: No routine call; may be required to come in if placed on standby for a scheduled shift
Float: May float to other med/surg departments

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
2 years of Med Surg experience
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS from AHA only
CPEN
PALS

Unit Details

Specialty: Med Surg
Unit has 32 beds
Typical patient ratio: 1:6, not guaranteed
Patient population includes surgical patients and med/surg overflow, including ortho, bowel, urologic, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, dental, back, pneumonia, chest pain, and COPD cases
Equipment includes remote telemetry monitored by ICU

Work Environment

Team-oriented, flexible, friendly, and outgoing personality preferred
Black scrubs required
