Location

• Sierra Vista, Arizona
• Acute Care Unit with 34 beds
• Patient population: geriatric, adults, occasional pediatrics (travelers not assigned pediatrics)
• Patient ratio: 6:1
• Equipment includes Alaris pumps, SCD machines, feeding tubes, telemetry monitors
• Electronic Health Record system: Cerner

Position Details

• Employment type: Travel contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3 shifts of 12 hours each (7a-7p / 7p-7a)
• Weekend work: Occasional weekends required, same shift hours
• Call requirements: Only when down staffed or placed on call
• Float requirements: May be asked to care for inpatient holds
• Dress code: Scrubs of any color, closed-toed shoes required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• One year or more of total travel nursing experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
