Job Opportunity: Nuclear Med Tech

Location

• Clyde, North Carolina
• Approximately 20 miles from Asheville
• Close to Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Employment Type

• Travel assignment
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Rotate call on Saturdays and Sundays (on call from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM)
• 40 hours guaranteed per week

Unit and Patient Information

• Facility has 153 beds
• Patient population includes geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients
• Patient load: 4-5 patients per day
• Equipment used: GE
• Electronic Health Record system: Paragon

Role Details

• Specialty: Nuclear Medicine and Stress Lab
• Position: Nuclear Med Tech
• Float opportunities available if trained in other modalities

Required Qualifications

• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in North Carolina (NCMBT)
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT (N) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Additional Information

• Dress code: black scrubs
• Orientation occurs bi-weekly with upcoming start dates available
• Weekend call rotation required (Saturday and Sunday)
