Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Rockville, Maryland
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Caseload Ratio: 8-12 cases per shift
Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital, Level II Trauma
Beds: 360 staffed beds

Job Details

Position: Interventional Radiology Tech (IR Tech)
Weekend Requirement: 1 full weekend call per month
On-call Requirement: Approximately 7-10 days per month; must respond within 30 minutes for STEMI call team activation, with a 2-hour call-back guarantee
Floating: No floating between units
Block schedule: Not accommodated
Start Date: ASAP
Scrubs: Provided
Charting Systems: Cerner, McKesson
Parking: Free parking with badge in patient visitor garage

Required Qualifications

Valid Special Procedures Technologist license in Maryland
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Special Procedures Technologist, with experience within the last year
RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only
