Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist Assistant - Acute Care Hospital

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

Day shift, Monday through Friday
8 hours per day (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
40 hours per week

Job Description

Inpatient/Acute Care setting focused on adult physical therapy
Experience with critical care, medical-surgical, and trauma patients preferred
Dress code: scrubs with white lab coat

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in California
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist Assistant experience within the last year
Experience working with adult patients
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA only; RQI and instructor cards accepted)

Cath lab is super traveler friendly, easygoing docs, nice coworkers, super easy to get to the facility from surrounding areas, great about scheduling what you needed off, LOTS of outdoor activities to do within an hour of here! Safe gated parking area (called the Cage), hospital is clean and welcoming, staff usually pretty great in all areas I went.

Cons

DO NOT STAY IN POMONA, stay in surrounding areas (San Dimas, La Verne, Covina, Glendora, Diamond Bar, Chino Hills, Claremont are all good).
