Overview

Travel/Contract role in Portland, Oregon
Day shift: 3x12 hours
Contract length: 13 weeks
Floating: possible if the clinician has labor skills
On call: no

Department

Mother Baby Unit provides postpartum, antepartum, and gynecological care to a high-risk population
Provides well newborn care as part of rooming-in service

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oregon
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Post Partum (1 year of experience)
Post Partum experience within the last year
Antepartum experience
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

Maternal Newborn Certification
Inpatient Onstetric Certification
International Board of Certified Lactation Consultation (IBCLC)

Additional Notes

State-mandated ratios: 1:3 stable normal couplets; 1:2 for couplets with complications such as late preterm or mom on Mag
