Registered Nurse — MS/Tele

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Rochester, New York
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–07:00
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates not accepted; must live more than 75 miles away
• Patient ratio: 1:5 to 1:7
• High-volume unit
• 13-week contract

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Experience with Epic

Unit Details

• Medical-surgical telemetry unit
• Cares for patients with CHF, acute MI, post-device care, arrhythmias, and general surgery cases including colon rectal, ostomies, plastic and cosmetic surgery, breast procedures, and reconstruction surgeries
