Job Opportunity: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
Location
- Spokane, Washington

Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
- No on-call required
- May float between units and potentially to a nearby hospital performing the same duties
Work Setting
- Adult and Pediatric Emergency Room
- Short Term Acute Care facility with Level II Trauma and Pediatric Trauma Center designation
- Hospital experience preferred
Patient Ratios
- Expected ratio: 7 patients per social worker
Job Responsibilities & Requirements
- Conduct crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatric patients
- Licensed as one of the following:
- Mental Health Counselor
- Marriage and Family Therapist
- Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) — this role’s license requirement
- Ability and willingness to float between units as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker license in Washington
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker within the last year
- Experience working with adult patients
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Experience as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
- Experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
