Operating Room Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in Jacksonville, North Carolina
13-week assignment
Day shift: 5x8s, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
40 hours per week
On-call includes nights, weekends, and holidays; typically 1 night per week
2–3 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Staffing ratio: 1:1
No locals within a 50-mile radius

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
3 years of main hospital experience
OR - Operating Room (3 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
Experience in an Acute Care setting
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred

CPI not required

Responsibilities

Immediately assess each patient upon admission to the OR, including biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, discharge planning, and family support factors
Ongoing reassessment of patients, identification of needs/problems, nursing interventions, and development of individualized intraoperative nursing care plans

Additional Notes

RTO must be included in the submission to be honored at offer
Candidates will be reviewed/interviewed by the manager
