Overview
- Travel RN position in Sylva, North Carolina
- Specialty: Special Care Nursery / NICU
- 13-week contract
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Rotating weekends
- No call required
- Float assignment: Mother Baby
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS
- NRP
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Maternal - Newborn experience
Preferred Experience
- Mother Baby experience
- Experience catching babies in delivery
Unit Details
- 4-bed unit, can surge to 6
- Typical patient ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 depending on acuity
- Patient population: neonates
