Registered Nurse — Medical Surgical Telemetry

Job Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Crescent City, California
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Unit/Role Focus

• Med Surg Tele unit
• Provides direct nursing care across all age and developmental stages
• Manages assigned patient care and directs ancillary staff
• May perform charge nurse functions

• 7-year background check
• Sex offender search
• EPLS/GSA/SAM search
• HHS/OIG search
• FACIS Level 3 screening
• California Medi-Cal search if FACIS III cannot be run
• Education verification
• Official transcript or diploma may be accepted if verification attempts are unsuccessful
