NICU Registered Nurse

Overview

• Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Hours per week: 36
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Start date: 7/6

Unit / Role Details

• NICU Level II and III experience is required.
• First-time travelers are not accepted.
• On-call may be required for late stays if needed.
• Local candidates are not accepted within a 75-mile radius.
• Pending license is accepted if obtained prior to start.
• RTO must be submitted during the submittal process.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NRP
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

• Diploma or transcript from highest level of education

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 3 months of start
• Drug test within 90 days of start

• Flu vaccination documentation or declination, if applicable to season
• Hepatitis B documentation
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation or approved exemption
• Respirator safety clearance, if the role involves respirator use

• Travelers are subject to an attendance policy; more than two missed shifts in a 13-week contract may lead to cancellation review.
