Surgical/Trauma ICU RN

Overview

  • Travel/contract RN assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia
  • 13-week contract
  • Nights
  • 36 or 48 hours per week
  • Every other weekend
  • Must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays
  • Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed
  • Can approve 40 hours for time off

Unit / Setting

  • Surgical/Trauma ICU
  • Fast-paced 15-bed intensive care unit
  • Level 1 facility
  • Adult surgical and trauma critical care patients
  • Must adhere to float policy

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Virginia
  • SICU - Surgical Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
  • SICU - Surgical Intensive Care experience within the last year
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN preferred; ASN required if no BSN
