Job Description

• Acute Care Hospital setting with 277 staffed beds
• Must have experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic nursing due to trauma status
• May need to cover one night shift during the contract
• Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Weekend work required
• On-call required: approximately 6-8 shifts every 6 weeks, including nights, evenings, and weekends (8-hour shifts)
• Floating between like units required
• Variable start times available (7:00 AM or 9:00 AM)
• Use of Epic electronic charting system
• Free parking provided

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including OR experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience in Neuro Trauma, Vascular Surgery, and Orthopedic Trauma nursing
