Facility & Unit Information
- Small hospital with 61 beds
- Labor & Delivery unit has 7 total rooms plus nursery
- Licensed for 11 bassinets and 9 maternity beds; overflow rooms available adjacent to unit
- Level One Nursery; higher risk births are transferred to tertiary centers
- Not a trauma facility
- Nurse-to-patient ratio follows AWHONN staffing guidelines
Job Responsibilities
- Provide antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
- Care includes nursery responsibilities
- No requirement to scrub or circulate during C-sections (only to receive neonate from sterile field)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years recent Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) experience
- Current Vermont RN license
- Certifications: BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), ACLS
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
- COVID-19 vaccine and booster required (no exemptions)
- Prior travel experience is not specified as required
