Position Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (NICU)
- Location: Madison, Wisconsin
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour shifts, both Day (7:00am–7:30pm) and Night (7:00pm–7:30am)
- Schedule: Monday through Friday with 2-3 weekends required per 6-week scheduling period
- Hours per Week: 36 hours
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in a Level III/IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Manage post-operative patients, gastrostomy tubes (G-tubes), tracheostomy and ventilator care.
- Experience with various modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation required.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 2 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience
- NICU experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Experience with gastrostomy tubes (G-tubes)
- Experience managing tracheostomy and ventilator care
- Experience with invasive ventilation modes
- Experience with noninvasive ventilation modes
