ECMO Specialist

Job Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Columbia, South Carolina
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
• 48 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• ECMO ICU (2 years of experience)
• ECMO ICU experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• CVICU experience
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 or more years of CVICU/ICU experience
• CES-A
• E-AEC
• LVAD experience

Role Notes

• May float to CICU and CVICU as needed
• RN ECMO Specialists only; does not accept Respiratory Therapy or Perfusion ECMO Specialists

Compliance / Start Requirements

• Driver’s license or state ID required for computer access and must be carried while on duty
• E-Verify or attestation required
• Background check required
• Federal exclusion checks required
• OFAC sanctions list search required
• Education verification required
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Fit mask / respirator fit test completed onsite during orientation
• Negative TB screening required
• Drug screening required within 1 year of start and updated annually
• Flu vaccine documentation or approved exemption required
• Badge photo required
• Online orientation modules and pre-assignment testing must be completed before start
• Contractor acknowledgment and floating policy must be signed
• CMS site documents must be read and signed by RNs
• Pass/fail testing required for RNs
• Core training modules required annually
