Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED)

Location: Utica, New York
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Work in a brand new, state-of-the-art Emergency Department facility.
Must be willing to float to other units as needed.
Patient ratios may vary, with potential for 1:5 or higher during surge periods.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Emergency Department (ED), with ED experience within the last year.
Current certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale).
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
Completion of Harassment Prevention Training.
