Registered Respiratory Therapist

Location: Lewistown, Montana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Shift: Three 12-hour shifts per week, including weekends, holidays, and on-call duties
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Provide respiratory care to patients across multiple areas including Acute Care, Obstetrics, and Emergency Room
Perform basic interpretation of electrocardiograms and identify life-threatening arrhythmias
Understand indications and contraindications for respiratory care procedures per American Association for Respiratory Care Clinical Practice Guidelines
Perform advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), pediatric life support, and neonatal life support protocols
Provide respiratory care assessments and communicate patient condition to physicians
Perform intubation procedures successfully

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Montana
Minimum 3 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
Certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Proven ability to perform intubation procedures successfully
