Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA)

Overview

• Contract role in Chico, California
• 16-week assignment
• Day shift with 8- or 10-hour shifts
• 40 hours per week
• Alternating weekends
• Practices as a first assistant to the surgeon in the Operating Room and Labor and Delivery Suite
• Requires credentialing through the medical staff office, with a minimum 6–8 week processing time

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in California
• CNOR
• BLS
• ACLS
• First Assist experience within the last year
• 2 years of First Assist experience

Additional Information

• Med/Surg and Critical Care RN positions are required to float as needed
• Agency staff must be W-2 employees of their agency
