• Shift: 4, 10s rotating shifts
• Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

• Ultrasound Technologist with 1 year of experience
• Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
• RDMS or ARRT (S)
• BLS

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience performing radiographic and ultrasound examinations

Role Summary

• Performs ultrasound examinations, reviews them for technical accuracy, sends completed examinations to the radiologist, and communicates pertinent data to the care team
• Identifies patients, reviews exam orders and demographic information for consistency, and maintains patient and staff safety
• Maintains department policies, confidentiality, quality assurance, safety, environmental standards, infection control standards, universal precautions, and HIPAA compliance
• Uses HIS and PACS computer systems for patient documentation
• Monitors supply inventory and keeps exam and dressing rooms stocked and neat
