Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
• Specifically, 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience required

Licenses & Certifications

• Active Compact RN License required at submission
• Required Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) and/or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)

Unit Information

• Unit: Emergency Department (Full service)
• Number of Beds: 11
• Number of Staff: 16
• Shift Coverage:

  • Day Shift: 2 RNs (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
  • Mid Shift: 1 RN (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM)
  • Night Shift: 2 RNs (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Patient Ratios: Varies
• EMR System: Meditech

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) environment
• Certifications such as CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse), CPEN (Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse), TCRN (Trauma Certified Registered Nurse)
