Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (Travel)

Location: Florence, Alabama
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Position Overview

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Department: Labor and Delivery
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Unit: 3rd Floor, 9 beds, Adult patient population
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Float Requirement: Postpartum unit

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
• Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
• Postpartum experience
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

• Normal Spontaneous Labor
• Preterm Labor
• Gestational Hypertension
• Preeclampsia
• Placenta Previa

• Umbilical Cord Prolapse
• Postpartum Hemorrhage

Work Environment and Culture

• Weekly orientation on Mondays
• EHR systems used: Centricity, Meditech
• Personality fit: Adaptability, Team Player, Attention to Detail, Stamina, Strong Communication Skills, Empathy
• Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs only; no scrubs with slogans, graphics, or offensive content; appropriate footwear required
