Dialysis RN

Location: Ithaca, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, every other Saturday
Patient Care:

Covers inpatient hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2 for acute hemodialysis treatments, 1:1 for acute ICU treatments (ICU RN maintains primary care)

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Minimum of 2 years dialysis experience, including dialysis experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross, must remain valid throughout assignment
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Valid driver's license

Additional Information
