Operating Room RN

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Olney, Maryland
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, with flexible start times of 6:45–15:15 or 10:45–19:15
• Weekly orientation on Monday
• ASAP preferred; start dates listed: 9/28 or 10/5
• Locals within 60 miles are accepted at a lower rate
• Scrubs provided
• On-call shifts may be assigned, up to 5 per 6-week schedule
• A 12-hour buddy call orientation shift is required within the first 2 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of General Surgery experience

Preferred

• ASAP start preferred

Additional Notes

• On-call shifts are 7:00–19:00 or 19:00–7:00
• The role includes a 12-hour buddy call orientation shift within the first 2 weeks of the contract
