Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular

Location: Asheboro, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (4x10 hours), 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Hours per Week: 40

Job Description

Outpatient setting.
Candidates must be registered in both ECHO & VASCULAR; candidates with only RVS certification and Echo experience will be considered.
Required to perform studies including Abdominal Aorta, Aorta, Arterial Graft Studies, Carotid, Color Flow, Doppler Studies, Duplex, Lower Extremity Arterial & Venous, M-Mode, Renal Artery Duplex, Transcranial Doppler, Upper Extremity Arterial & Venous.
Experience with PACS and Philips systems.
Use of EPIC electronic health record system.

Required Qualifications

Valid Ultrasound Technologist license in North Carolina.
Minimum 1 year of Ultrasound Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
Completion of at least one travel assignment.
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credentials.
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) credentials.
Certification by ARDMS or CCI.
Vascular Sonographer experience.
Echo Technician experience.
